Power Macintosh Expansion Card Info

After aquiring a Power Macintosh 7200 I took a look around at the CD-ROM for system 7.5.2 that came included with the original system. The CD actually covers the first generation of PowerPC's with PCI expansion slots the 7200, 7500, 7600, 8500 and 8600 machines and tucked away was a folder called "Expansion Card Info". A program is included which is an overview of products from a variety of companies that were making PCI cards specifically Macintosh.

I discovered a hidden folder which included the assets from the program and figured it wouldn't be too hard to transcode the video files and images into an interactive HTML 3.2 experience.

The site works well with modern browsers (as of July 2025) and also works flawlessly with Internet Explorer 4.01 on my Macintosh 475 with Quicktime 4.

Click the CD below to begin your interactive journey like it's 1995.
